A tall red column stands straight up out of a deep navy ground, and everything else in the picture is arranged around it. Two orange bars come slanting in from the left and pass behind it, a pale yellow blade cuts down from the top corner, and above it hangs a blue disc set inside three thin rings of colour.
Down at the bottom, arrows point away to the left and Kandinsky has signed with his little monogram.
