The whole of Middle-earth on one sheet of aged parchment: the Misty Mountains running down the spine of it, the forests inked in green, the Sea of Rhûn away east and Haradwaith trailing off into the south. A compass rose sits in one corner and a crowned cartouche in the other, and the border is all flowing Elvish script in gold on deep brown.
Faded ochres and browns from edge to edge with hand-lettered place names throughout, so this is a proper challenge. Finished size 49 x 69cm
