It's a sunny afternoon in Grasse and three friends have strolled out from under the shade of the big old trees. The gentleman in his top hat and bow tie is flanked by two elegant ladies, one in cool blue and the other in bright orange with a parasol to match. Behind them the rooftops and bell tower glow warmly in the light, and more walkers drift across the terrace. Which way will they head first, the flowers or the perfumers?
The flat colour areas of the trees, sky and sandy terrace give clear sections to work with, but the wide expanse of similar sandy tones and the lettering along the bottom need some care.
