The sun is going down behind Bath and the whole city has turned honey-coloured. A couple walk arm in arm along the pavement past the old red phone box, the lamps have just come on, and down on the river a man stands out on the deck of his narrowboat watching the light go.
Below the bridge the weir keeps up its steady rush, pigeons potter about among the fallen leaves, and the sky is doing something extraordinary!
Rich detail in the bridge architecture, reflections on water and dramatic sunset sky provide good visual anchors but many similarly-toned warm areas add challenge.
