Six lizards in Edwardian dress mill about on a pale green ground, drawn in Edward Gorey's fine crosshatched ink. One in a spotted turquoise frock works a purple fan; another wears a green-and-gold striped smock over herringbone breeches; a third, in a blue pinstripe coat and red tie, offers a hat on a silver salver. A seventh lies face down on the floor in a plum suit, unremarked.
The figures come together quickly, but the flat green background takes up half the sheet and gives nothing to sort by. Finished size 73.6 x 50.8cm.
The pale green background dominates much of the puzzle making it tricky, but the detailed central group of characters provides good reference points.
