Cat Fancy by Edward Gorey – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A tuxedo cat sits up on a four-poster bed while a black one sprawls beside it, and everything else — canopy, swagged curtains, wallpaper, counterpane, carpet — is the same yellow flower drawn over and over in Edward Gorey's fine crosshatch. Two animals in an entire room of repeating pattern, and no clue as to what either of them is looking at.

This is the hard kind: one colour, one motif and only the cats to navigate by, so the sorting comes down to the direction of the pen lines. Finished size 51 x 68cm.
