Caprock Country by Billy Hassell – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

A painted bunting — blue head, red breast, green back — sits on a branch at the centre while a coyote trots along the ridge behind and a horned lizard crosses the bottom corner. Billy Hassell fills the rest with West Texas: prickly pear studded with orange fruit, black-eyed Susans and red coneflowers, purple thistles, a grasshopper, and a buckeye butterfly with eye-spots on its wings.
