This one is absolutely gorgeous — a beautifully illustrated pattern puzzle packed with nods to Britain's most iconic royal palaces. Palace Stories is produced in association with Historic Royal Palaces, and every inch of this design is filled with Tudor-era figures, grand palace facades, strawberries, swords, blooms, and trailing botanical foliage in the most wonderful mix of deep purples, pinks, reds, and mint greens.
It's the kind of puzzle where you keep noticing new details the longer you look — a courtly figure here, a topiary tree there, and those oversized strawberries dotted throughout that give it such a playful, folk-art charm. The white background helps you sort and place pieces, but the sheer variety of illustrated elements will keep you thoroughly entertained throughout the build.
1,000 pieces and made by House of Puzzles, this would make a brilliant gift for anyone who loves British history, royal heritage, or simply a beautiful, characterful puzzle to display once complete.
The white background aids sorting, but the dense mix of similarly scaled illustrated motifs — florals, figures, buildings, and foliage — spread evenly across the image creates plenty of tricky mid-build moments.
