Nature

Romero Britto gathers every animal he can think of into one landscape and lets them get on with it. A polar bear pads along the riverbank a few feet from a flamingo, a koala waves out of the undergrowth, and a penguin stands front and centre in a pearl necklace, entirely at home between a crocodile and a rhinoceros. Hearts are scattered through the grass, the hills and the sky.

The heavy black outlines give every animal a hard edge, so those come together quickly; the doodled sky and the striped hills are where the time goes. Finished size 47 x 69cm.
