Paradise under Mount Kilimanjaro

Sunset over Kilimanjaro, and every animal for miles has come down to the same waterhole at once. An elephant wades in at one end, zebras stand knee-deep in the middle, flamingos pick their way along the near bank, and up on a branch a leopard has draped itself over the lot of them and is watching.

The sky above the snow line goes scarlet and gold, and the still water hands all of it straight back. Finished size 48 x 34cm
