There's something wonderfully nostalgic about this scene that makes it perfect for a long, leisurely puzzle session. I love how Steve Crisp has packed so much delightful detail into this vintage holiday moment - from the classic car loaded up with beach gear to the sleeping dog sprawled out in the sunshine.
The colour palette is absolutely gorgeous, with those rich blues of the lake and mountains contrasting beautifully against the warm cottage walls and vibrant garden flowers. You can almost smell the honeysuckle climbing around that doorway!
What makes this particularly satisfying to piece together is the variety of textures and scenes - the intricate latticework, the still life of picnic provisions, the distant mountains, and all those charming little touches like the beach ball and vintage suitcases.
