Someone has built a fence out of old surfboards, stood them all on end and lashed them together with wire. One is white, the next orange, then a lime green, a turquoise, a battered yellow further along and one covered all over in orange swirls, every board dinged and sun-bleached.
Palm fronds and dark leaves crowd in behind them, tropical plants push up along the bottom, and above it all is a blue Hawaiian sky with a few clouds going over!
Brightly coloured surfboards in a clear row against blue sky and green foliage provide strong colour and shape cues.
