The Waterfall by Kandinsky Vassily – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Dtoys)

Kandinsky painted a waterfall and let the colour do the falling. A blue mountain leans in from the left, a broad sweep of white pours down the right-hand side, and a yellow disc sits above it like a sun that has wandered out of place.

Everything else is pure colour laid on thick — orange, crimson and deep green — and out of all those shapes a landscape gathers itself and stands up in front of you.
