The tower from across the Seine on a warm evening, framed between two big trees that have been left as dark shapes either side. A stone bridge crosses the middle distance, a small boat is going under it, and the river below has gone still enough to take the whole thing back down again upside down.
A broad river carrying the reflection, with the tower as the one strong vertical. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
The river and its reflection repeat the scene above, and the trees are two large near-black masses.
