The Ecstatic Kiss of Spring by Tino Rodriguez & Virgo Paraiso – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Tino Rodriguez and Virgo Paraiso's two skulls lean in and touch, each one built entirely out of flowers (the left of cream daisies, yellow chrysanthemums and gold leaves, the right of pale pink and mint blossom) against flat black. A bed of cosmos, poppies, roses and white daisies climbs from the bottom edge, hummingbirds and blue swallowtails hover in the dark, and a gold baroque scroll runs along the top.

The black ground is the hard half and there is a lot of it; the flowers are varied enough that the rest falls quickly. Finished size 50.8 x 73.7cm.
