The Ecstatic Kiss of Spring by Tino Rodriguez & Virgo Paraiso – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Pomegranate)

Tino Rodriguez and Virgo Paraiso's two skulls lean in and touch, each one built entirely out of flowers — the left of cream daisies, yellow chrysanthemums and gold leaves, the right of pale pink and mint blossom — against flat black. A bed of cosmos, poppies, roses and white daisies climbs from the bottom edge, hummingbirds and blue swallowtails hover in the dark, and a gold baroque scroll runs along the top.

The black ground is the hard half and there is a lot of it; the flowers are varied enough that the rest falls quickly. Finished size 50.8 x 73.7cm.
