A wall of red — hundreds of vintage odds and ends collaged by shade alone: matchboxes and playing cards, a gerbera on a spotted plate, valentines, old labels, dominoes and lettering, all in scarlet, crimson and cherry. Part of Cobble Hill’s Shades series.

One colour and no landmarks, so this is a proper challenge — sorted by object and texture rather than hue. Finished size 69 x 49cm.
