A Paris street in watercolour with the tower standing at the end of it and the sky gone pink behind. Cafe tables are set out on both pavements under red awnings, the lamp posts run away in a line down the middle, and there is a figure walking off into the distance who has been left as barely more than a smudge.
Wet washed colour with soft edges everywhere and one strong silhouette. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
Watercolour bleeds mean very few firm boundaries, and the sky is a large graded wash.
