A great metal pear stands in the middle of the park, taller than a person, built up out of overlapping leaves and discs of steel that catch the light in a hundred different ways. It sits on its own little circle of cobbles, set into the grass.
All around are the big trees, heavy with late summer, throwing long shadows across the lawn, and the path curves away past it into the shade. The first leaves are already down on the grass.
Strong contrast between silver metallic sculpture and surrounding green lawn and trees, clear simple composition with distinct zones of colour and texture.
All within 35 miles of Worcester.
