The pages of Edith Holden’s Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, cut and pieced into a patchwork quilt — songbirds, nests, wild flowers and butterflies boxed into diagonal panels, with pastel floral sashing running between them. Every square is a small watercolour study from the 1906 nature journal.
The soft, close pastel tones and the repeating patterned borders make this a slow, absorbing build. Finished size 69 x 49cm.
Many similar pastel panels and patterned borders make the sorting slow.
