The road curves up to a castle gate and stops there, under a round tower with a little flag snapping away at the top. Stone arches run off to the right, ivy has got into the walls, and gardens have been planted along the foot of them in oranges and greens.
The whole thing is painted in swirls, so the clouds churn overhead and the stonework ripples. Walk under that archway and you have no idea what is on the other side!
