Away in a Manger by Keith Stapleton - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (House of Puzzles)

The nativity under a thatched roof, lit by a single hanging lantern. Mary kneels in blue at the crib with Joseph standing over her, shepherds in red robes gather at the straw, and lambs, a goat and a few hens have settled around them. Out on the hillside the magi ride down on camels beneath the star, with Bethlehem lit blue in the distance.

The lantern-lit stable holds nearly all the colour, which leaves the night sky and hillside as the long stretch. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
