New Jigsaw Puzzles: House of Puzzles & More | Week of 6-13 April 2026

It's been a very good week for new arrivals, and we're pleased to say that all eight of them come from one of our favourite publishers: House of Puzzles. There's something of a British thread running through this batch — coastal sunsets, Scottish glens, royal history, and a cobbled Sussex street — alongside two vibrant pieces from a fan-favourite artist and a lovely map-style illustration of our islands. Plenty to keep the puzzle table busy.

Seaside Sunset by Robert Barry — Big 250 Piece

We're kicking off with something a little different in terms of piece count. Seaside Sunset by Robert Barry is part of House of Puzzles' Big 250 range, where the pieces are roughly twice the size of standard ones — making this a genuinely relaxing puzzling experience rather than a squinting, tweezers-in-hand affair. Robert's puzzle art spans snowy landscapes, idyllic gardens, and spectacular riverside scenes, and his attention to detail and ability to evoke nostalgia have made his puzzles very popular among House of Puzzles enthusiasts. A warm, golden coastal scene at just £11.47 — this one makes a lovely gift too.

Roaming the Highlands — 4 x 500 Piece

If one puzzle at a time isn't enough of a challenge, Roaming the Highlands gives you four separate 500-piece puzzles in a single box, each celebrating the sweeping, dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands. At £23.97 you're getting exceptional value — four complete puzzles to work through at your own pace, share with family, or return to again and again. It's the kind of set that earns its place in the collection long after the first assembly.

Royal Monograms — Historic Royal Palaces 1000 Piece

This is a collaboration that feels particularly fitting: House of Puzzles teaming up with Historic Royal Palaces to bring some regal splendour to the puzzle table. Royal Monograms draws on centuries of British royal heritage, presenting the decorative cyphers and monograms of the monarchy in a rich, detailed image that rewards careful study as you piece it together. History lovers and royal enthusiasts will find plenty to talk about while it's in progress.

Palace Stories — Historic Royal Palaces 1000 Piece

The second Historic Royal Palaces title this week takes a slightly different approach. Palace Stories weaves together scenes and details from across Britain's most celebrated royal residences — the kind of image that has you pausing mid-sort to look a little closer. At £15.47, it sits alongside Royal Monograms as a natural companion piece, and the two together would make a rather fine gift for anyone with a passion for British history.

Mermaid Street, Rye, Sussex by Steve Crisp — 1000 Piece

Mermaid Street in Rye is one of the most photographed cobbled lanes in England, all wonky timber-framed houses and tumbling roses — and Mermaid Street, Rye, Sussex by Steve Crisp renders it with all the warmth and precision you'd expect from this internationally renowned illustrator. Steve Crisp is a British artist who creates rural country scenes, British nostalgia, jungle wildlife, and other lovely images that have been made into jigsaw puzzles. He lives in a village in the South-East of England surrounded by countryside, and draws his inspiration for the rustic scenes he creates from the many beautiful villages and landscapes locally. Rye is practically on his doorstep in spirit, and it shows.

Happy Vibes by Aimee Stewart — 1000 Piece

The title alone tells you what to expect. Happy Vibes by Aimee Stewart is exactly the sort of puzzle that makes an afternoon at the table feel like a proper treat. Aimee Stewart is an American self-taught artist who specialises in digital painting and photo manipulation, with an eclectic style heavily inspired by music and literature, delighting in creating exquisitely detailed designs. People who have only seen her super detailed, vividly coloured puzzle art might be surprised to see her more contemporary, abstract styles of artwork — but for puzzle purposes, it's that riot of colour and detail that makes her pieces so satisfying to complete.

Glass Buttons by Aimee Stewart — 1000 Piece

Aimee Stewart gets a second entry this week with Glass Buttons, and if anything it sounds like an even more visually rich prospect — the kind of image where every single piece feels like a find. Aimee Stewart creates fantasy and collage images with vibrant colours, a soft digital painting style, and high detail. A jar or collection of glass buttons might sound like a modest subject, but in Aimee's hands it becomes a gloriously intricate puzzle that will keep you thoroughly absorbed.

The British Isles by Emma Lawrence — 1000 Piece

We're rounding out the week with a puzzle that feels perfectly timed for spring. The British Isles by Emma Lawrence is a beautifully illustrated map-style image that packs in landmarks, wildlife, local produce, and culture from across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. It's the sort of puzzle where you find yourself pointing things out to whoever's sitting across the table — "oh, look, there's the Forth Bridge" — and that communal quality makes it a joy from first piece to last.
