This week's new arrivals read like a tour of British eccentricity — a chaotic Cotswolds farm shop, a snowy ski poster from decades past, and a Christmas scene tucked away in the middle of August. It's an odd little mix, but that's rather the joy of new stock day: you never quite know what's going to turn up. All four are fresh from Ravensburger, so expect the usual Softclick precision and linen-finish print quality across the board.
Diddly Squat Farm for little hands
If you've got a young puzzler in the house who's obsessed with Clarkson's Farm (or just tractors in general), the Diddly Squat Farm - 100 XXL Piece Jigsaw Puzzle is the entry point to the farm's chaos, scaled down to extra-large pieces that are easier for smaller fingers to grip and place. It's part of a wider licensed collection that Ravensburger worked on closely with Diddly Squat Farm Shop co-founder Lisa Hogan, so the details are properly true to the setting rather than a generic farm scene. A lovely gift for a farming-mad five-to-eight-year-old, and a nice way to introduce them to a puzzle they'll actually recognise.
Udder chaos at the farm shop
For the grown-up version of that same farmyard mayhem, there's the Diddly Squat Farm Shop by Andy Tudor - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle. Illustrator Andy Tudor was commissioned to draw this scene for Ravensburger, and he's packed it with the kind of gleeful disorder fans of the show will spot instantly — goats have claimed the roof, a combine harvester is bearing down on the car park, a bull has somewhere to be, sheep are being loaded — or possibly unloaded — from a livestock trailer, and chickens are everywhere . Tudor himself has said he particularly enjoyed drawing the birdlife in the piece, from the hens to the pigeons keeping a watchful eye on proceedings, and there's even a tortoise hidden in there if you look closely enough. It's a genuinely funny puzzle to work on — the kind where you keep spotting new sight gags the longer you sit with it.
A slope worth lingering on
Swap muddy Cotswold fields for a snowy mountainside with the Retro Skiing - Vintage Posters Panorama - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle. This one leans into that golden-age travel poster aesthetic — bold colour blocking, stylised typography, the kind of image that would have hung in a 1950s ski resort lobby — and the panoramic format gives it a satisfying long, low shape once it's finished. It's a nice option for anyone who collects vintage-style puzzles or fancies something a bit different on the wall for a change of scene. Well worth a look on the wider Ravensburger puzzles collection if retro travel art is your thing.
Christmas in August (yes, really)
It might feel early, but the My Haven No.14 - Christmas Shed - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle is exactly the sort of puzzle you want to have already sorted before the festive rush hits. This is My Haven No.14 from Ravensburger, packed with Christmas cosiness — a glowing tree beside a crackling fireplace, stockings hung up, a wreath on the door, fairy lights strung across the ceiling, and a coffee table loaded with candles, a snow globe, a nutcracker, and an open book with a hot chocolate close at hand. There's a cat stretched out by the fire and gifts piled up, with a cold winter evening visible through the windows, and the contrast between that and the warmth inside makes it all feel very real. Be warned, though — as a puzzle, this one is a genuine challenge, with the sheer number of objects, textures, and overlapping details meaning you'll be working through it section by section .
Ordering your Christmas puzzle now means it's ready and waiting when the nights draw in, instead of joining the December scramble.
That's the lot for this week, but there's always more landing than we can fit into one post. Have a browse of the full new arrivals collection to see everything that's just come in, and remember that UK delivery is a flat £3.97 per order, however many puzzles you decide to add to the box.
