The new Ravensburger puzzles for 2027 have landed on our pre-order list well ahead of the boxes. More than a hundred of them, and Ravensburger expects them between mid-January and mid-February 2027. If you like having the next puzzle sorted before the Christmas one is finished, this is the list to read.
We've picked out the ones we think people will ask about first, grouped so you can skip to your kind of puzzle. Every one links to its own page with the box picture and the puzzle's details.
The big ones: 2000 to 5000 pieces
The headline is The Library of Cats, a 5000 piece puzzle of bookshelves with cats tucked in among the books. It is the largest puzzle in the range and the sort of project that takes over a dining table for a month. At 3000 pieces there are three: Reign of Dragons (castles, knights and dragons over the mountains), Golden Hour in Venice with its gondolas at sunset, and Burano City, the island's painted houses photographed along the canal. At 2000 pieces, Welcome to London is a busy illustrated city of landmarks and red buses, and Blossom Afternoon is a Japanese garden in cherry blossom.
New numbers in the British artist series
If you collect the long-running numbered series, 2027 brings the next one in several of them. My Haven No.15, The Reading Room is Steve Read's latest, and Trevor Mitchell's Leisure Days No.14, Passing the Time carries on his nostalgic village scenes with buses and classic cars. Dominic Davison adds Down the Lane No.7, Country Lane (we wrote about his work in our Dominic Davison artist post).
There is plenty more from artists our customers already know: Steve Crisp's Playtime on the River, Linda Jane Smith's Crazy Cats: Purrfect Night In, Dean MacAdam's The Pet Shop Owner, Angela Holland's Beach Life at 1500 pieces, and Ray Nicholson's comic series moving to the films with two Movie Set puzzles, one Western and one Haunted. Georgia Breeze's Happy Days No 11, Hobbies and Pastimes comes as four 500 piece puzzles in one box.
Fourteen famous paintings in the Art Collection
The Art Collection is fourteen 1000 piece puzzles of paintings most of us could name: Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Café Terrace at Night and Starry Night Over the Rhône, Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa, Monet's Water Lilies, Botticelli's Birth of Venus, the Mona Lisa, Munch's The Scream and Kandinsky's Yellow, Red, Blue. Klimt has four to himself, including The Kiss, and there's a second Kiss, Francesco Hayez's, if you want to put the two side by side.
Magic Puzzle Company Series 3 and 4
Six more from the Magic Puzzle Company, all 1000 pieces of busy, search-and-find illustration. Series 3 is The Secret Soup, The Puzzled Patron and The Gnomes' Homes; Series 4 is Big Rock City, The Awakened Artifacts and The Peckish Pirates. Collectors tend to want the whole set, so reserving them together saves chasing them later.
From the television, the games and the films
Fans of The Traitors get two: The Castle at Night at 1000 pieces and a 500 piece circular puzzle. Pokémon has a Collector's Edition trio of Eevee's evolutions (Flareon, Umbreon and Espeon), and K-Pop Demon Hunters, Minecraft, Super Mario, Looney Tunes and Disney all have new puzzles too.
For children, and a few 3D ones
For younger puzzlers there's Elmer in a 24 piece giant floor puzzle, Paddington's Sports Day as four puzzles in one box (12, 16, 20 and 24 pieces), and several Frozen sets, one with glitter. The 3D puzzles include pencil holders for Minecraft, Fortnite and K-Pop Demon Hunters fans, and a Peppa Pig puzzle that becomes a night light.
How pre-ordering works
A pre-order reserves your copy before the puzzle reaches us. It isn't a guarantee: in the rare event a supplier can't let us have an item, we email you straight away and refund it in full. The dates on each page are Ravensburger's estimate and can change, so treat mid-January to mid-February as a guide rather than a promise.
