Vermeer - The Girl with the Wine Glass, 1659 - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird)

A young woman in a red satin dress sits with a glass in her hand and a man leaning over her rather closely, grinning at us over her shoulder. A third figure sits slumped at the table behind with his head on his hand. Light comes in through the leaded window on the left, and Vermeer has put every bit of it into the folds of that dress.

A very dark interior with one enormous area of scarlet satin in the middle. Finished size 48 x 69cm.
