Time Away - An Evening Skating Session

The skates are laced, the sled is in tow and the little one in red is along for the ride! A couple glide out across the frozen lake just as the sunset turns the ice to gold, while the family dog watches from the shore beside the crackling fire pit.

Back at the log cabin every window is glowing, the mugs are steaming on the arm of the chair and the snowshoes are propped up in the drifts. Ducks wander the ice, deer step out of the pines, and a bear is keeping a safe distance up on the hill.
