A village built right down to the water, with the houses in pink, ochre and blue stacked up either side of a narrow canal and their balconies almost touching over it. Rowing boats are tied at the steps below, there are flowers in every window box, a cat on a wall and a golden retriever sitting at the top of the stairs watching the boats.
Two thousand pieces of warm stucco with the canal reflecting all of it. Finished size 98 x 69cm.
