The cat has claimed the warmest spot in the cabin, curled up on an old wooden chest with a red bandana tucked beside her. Outside the window snow is falling on a stack of birch logs, and a pair of cardinals have landed close enough to watch her watching them.
There's plenty to sort through here: the buffalo check curtains and cushions in reds and blacks, the striped wool blankets on the bed, the stone wall behind the mounted fish and old snowshoes. A green lantern hangs above the chest and a woven basket of laundry sits in the corner, so even the quieter corners of the puzzle have something going on.
It's a good one for anyone who likes cats, cabins or a bit of winter nostalgia, with enough colour variation between the tartan, wood tones and stonework to keep the build interesting from edge to edge.
The tartan fabrics, wood grain and stone wall offer plenty of texture and colour variation, though large blocks of similar plaid and wood tones will require careful sorting.
