A figure curls gently around a great golden sun, one arm cradling a drift of cloud, the other stretched wide as a pair of doves lift off into the night sky. A coil of red wool sits where her thoughts might be, and beneath her the sea rolls on in deep indigo waves. This is Little Sun Feel, illustrator Diana Ejaita's bold and symbolic piece created for the Little Sun project.
Made as a 500-piece round jigsaw, it's built from confident blocks of colour rather than fine detail — the sun's rays, layered trees and that vivid thread of red glow warmly against midnight blue. A striking, thoughtful puzzle for anyone drawn to modern illustration and quiet, hopeful imagery.
Large flat colour blocks make sorting easier, but the deep blues, blacks and repeated cloud and dove shapes create some tricky similar-toned areas.
