Christmas Market – 500 Piece Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle (Ravensburger)

Snow falls over a market square at night. A hot roast chestnuts cart stands on the left with a red wheel and a chalkboard, next to a Christmas Candy stall hung with striped bags; a carousel of painted horses turns on the right, a Toys and Games stall keeps a Santa behind the counter, and somebody carries a decorated tree straight through the middle of the crowd. Tall pastel townhouses line the back with every window lit.

Wooden pieces, thick and irregularly cut, with shaped figures hidden among them. The lit windows and striped roofs break the picture into workable blocks; the dark sky and the mass of shoppers in winter coats are where it slows right down. Finished size 40 x 27cm.
