Chick Inn – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Cobble Hill)

A wooden cubby shelf where every compartment holds a downy chick — yellow ones and speckled grey — settled among daffodils, crocuses and primroses, brown eggs and cracked shells, little watering cans, vintage seed tins and straw nests. A hand-lettered sign reads The Chick Inn, with a scrap of pink gingham tucked over the top.

The compartments break the picture into small scenes, which helps, though the straw and pale wood repeat. Finished size 69 x 49cm.
