Reims Cathedral floodlit against a night that has gone properly blue, with the two west towers standing clear above the trees and the rose window lit behind its arch. The square below is nearly empty, a couple are crossing towards the doors, and the wet pavement is throwing all of it back up again.
Deep blue-black over the top half against warm lit stone below. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
A very large area of near-black night sky with nothing in it, so all the work is in the lower half.
