Night has come down over the old town and the lamps are on. Warm light spills out of the shop window and the upstairs rooms onto the cobbles, window boxes of greenery sit above the shuttered doorways, and the clock tower stands at the end of the street with its four little turrets against a deep blue sky.

Not a soul about, and only the clouds moving over the rooftops!
