There is something wonderfully nostalgic about a busy campsite in full swing, and this charming illustration by UK artist Angela Holland captures it beautifully. A vintage mint-green caravan sits alongside a classic orange VW campervan, tents of all shapes and sizes fill the green, and somewhere in the middle of it all, a big communal picnic spread has everyone gathered round.
Look closer and there is plenty going on — children kicking a football, someone paddling in the river, swans drifting along the bank, a rowboat pulled up on the grass, bunting fluttering through the trees. It is the kind of scene you could spend ages just exploring, which makes it a genuinely satisfying puzzle to build.
This 500-piece Ravensburger puzzle was created exclusively for the UK Nationals 2026 speed puzzle championship — one of five brand-new designs unveiled at the event, each by a different British artist. A lovely piece of puzzling history to own.
With bold, folk-art style illustration, clear colour blocking, and lots of distinct sections to work through, this is a great pick for an afternoon build — whether you are new to puzzling or just fancy something enjoyable rather than gruelling.
