Still Life, 1867 by Severin Roesen – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Bluebird Puzzle)

Somebody has been extremely generous with the fruit! Two stone ledges are loaded with it — a white latticed bowl heaped with raspberries, bunches of green and black grapes tumbling over the edge, peaches, plums, a split watermelon, half a melon, a lemon with its peel curling away in one long ribbon.

Behind all this the sky is going pink over a distant range of hills, and a fringed white cloth has been left draped at the right-hand end.
