Gijon from the air on a clear day, looking down on the green headland of Cimadevilla with the sea wrapped round three sides of it. The old town runs down the neck towards the marina where the boats are packed in tight, the beach curves away to the right, and the whole city spreads back to the hills behind under a hard blue sky.
