The Sultan Ahmed Mosque seen from the gardens, with all six minarets up and the cascade of domes stepping down from the big one. The whole picture has been pulled towards blue, which is presumably the point, so the stone, the sky and the shadows are all worked in the same range with only the trees below breaking into green.
Blue on blue over most of the board, with the minarets and dome edges to sort against. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
The building and the sky are worked in nearly the same blues, so outlines matter more than colour.
