If you’re craving a proper escape without leaving the sofa, Summer in the City is a gorgeous one to get stuck into. You’ve got that sandy little beach hideaway in the foreground (deckchairs, a thatched hut, and a cheeky kayak or two), while the bright blue sea sparkles off into the distance.
The best bit is how much variety there is to build: palm fronds, sailboats on the bay, colourful beach umbrellas, and a city skyline sitting behind it all like a holiday postcard. It’s the sort of 1000-piece that keeps you entertained right to the last piece, with plenty of small details to spot as you go.
Densely packed scene with numerous small details including boats, umbrellas, palm trees, birds, a beach hut, and a city skyline, all requiring careful colour matching.
