A wonderful 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle depicting the Peasant Wedding, painted in 1567 by the Flemish painter Pieter Bruegel the Elder. The banqueting table is crowded and the celebrations are in full swing - music is playing and there is plenty of food and beer. The bride is sitting quite still, not eating or drinking, as was the custom of the time: she awaits her groom to arrive in the evening.
