Joy of Christmas

A shopping street on a snowy evening with every window lit and dressed. Garlands are strung across between the buildings, a decorated tree stands out on the pavement piled round with parcels, and a family has stopped in front of it. A dog is sitting patiently on the wet pavement while somebody looks at a window display.

Warm shop light against blue snow, with the tree and the garlands to work from. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
