Four corners of one village, all of them busy. Outside Dottie's Tea Rooms the tables are full and a spaniel is working the crowd for crumbs, while a woman pushes a pram past the flowers piled outside the shop next door.
Round the lane a gardener wheels his barrow up to the picket gate, a man mows the big lawn beside the church in long stripes, and at the Royal Oak somebody is up a ladder watering the hanging baskets before opening!
Four separate scenes with lush garden detail, colourful flowers and varied architecture provide moderate complexity.
