Bernadette Twomey's Flowery is a bold, flat-graphic garden scene packed with stylised plants, oversized seed heads, and a large orange tulip pushing up through the middle of the composition. Teal, orange, yellow, black and white jostle for space across the whole image — there's no real background to retreat to, just layer after layer of illustrated botanicals.
It's a genuinely tricky build. The colour palette is vivid but a lot of the tones bleed into one another, and the repeating leaf and petal shapes mean sorting by colour only gets you so far. Fans of contemporary illustration or maximalist folk-art will find a lot to enjoy here while they work through it.

The image is densely packed with repeating botanical shapes across a uniformly busy canvas, with many areas sharing similar teal and dark tones that make distinguishing individual pieces difficult.
