Floral Escape

The shutters are open, the kettle is on and the flower stall is ready for the day! Buckets of sunflowers, roses and daisies crowd the shelves, and the red enamel teapot is waiting on the counter beside jars of preserves and a few ripe tomatoes on a gingham cloth.

Beyond the arch of climbing blossom, a calm blue river glides past under a sky of soft clouds. It's the sort of summer morning where you'd happily stay put and let the afternoon take care of itself.
