Dos Burros

Two donkeys nose to nose in close-up, draped in brightly patterned Mexican blankets, their long ears up and eyes soft. Behind them a desert runs to purple mountains, with agave spikes and a warm sunset sky.

The patterned blankets and shaggy coats give lots of texture to read, while the sky is the plainer stretch. Finished size 69 x 49cm.
