Two horses stand head to head — a dark bay and a chestnut with a white blaze, both in their bridles — framed by sprays of white blossom and green leaves. It's a close portrait, painted down to the shine on their coats and the buckles on the tack.
At 275 pieces the challenge is the horses themselves, with broad runs of similar brown to place. Finished size 69 x 49cm.
