A black kitten has got into the art supplies and settled down in the middle of them, which is the only sensible place to be. There are watercolour pans and tubes of paint, brushes laid out in rows, a sketchbook open at a half-finished page, roses in the corners and a coffee with a cat drawn into the foam that somebody was clearly rather pleased with.

Dark fur against a lot of small bright objects, so the kitten anchors the middle. Finished size 69 x 48cm.
