It's that golden hour in Central Park when the skyscrapers light up and the autumn leaves look as if they've caught fire! The carriage driver is easing his horse along the path past a blossom tree that hasn't heard it's October, the geese are gliding under the old stone bridge, and the lamps are just coming on.
The whole of New York is humming away behind the trees, but down by the water it's quiet. Which way would you wander?
The skyline, bridge and carriage give clear focal points, but the large areas of red and orange foliage and the busy flower borders take some patience.

All within 4 miles of Gapstow Bridge.
