An advertising poster from 1897 for the Nantes biscuit makers Lefevre-Utile, done in the full art nouveau manner. A woman in pale drapery leans back into a great scrolling frame of whiplash line, a rose at her shoulder and a shell and anchor worked into the border, with the company name across the top in ornamental capitals.
Soft greens and creams across nearly the whole sheet with fine dark linework over it. Finished size 48 x 69cm.

A pale limited palette over the whole poster, so the ornamental line is the only real thing to sort by.
