Davison's digitally painted scenes radiate warmth and an almost magical sense of light, from cosy village streets glowing at dusk to grand country houses in autumn colour , and Robin Hood's Bay is exactly the kind of subject that suits him: texture everywhere, boats, stone, water, and sky. Davison was born in London and now lives in Buckinghamshire, drawing much of his inspiration from the romantic landscapes and serene environments of the British countryside — so there's a genuine feeling of home in these images.
