About the Artist: Originally from England, Adam Parsons moved to Japan at age 19 to become an illustrator. A few years after winning “Best New Illustrator” in the Tokyo Museum, he moved again. He came to America in 1999, where he practically fell into the profession of graphic design. But fine art remained Adam’s passion. His work is often recognized for its meticulous detail, what Parsons refers to as “Being Bothered” — work which others could do if they kept at it, but often can’t be bothered with. This attention to detail is what Adam’s fans acknowledge bring many of his works to life. With works like Shoal to enjoy, we’re very glad he bothered!
